On the 1st December 2005 the practice of Andrew Turpin & Co was rebranded as Turpin Lucas Lees (TLL) Accountants.

This change was intended to recognise all three partners: Andrew, David and Chris and to reflect the expansion of the practice in recent years in terms of both clients and staff.

At the same time the practice was pleased to open its new office facilities at the Hesketh Bank premises. Previously home to 3 interconnecting Portakabins the decision was made in early 2005 to redevelop the rear of the premises and as a result we now have an additional 3000 square foot of open plan office space and file storage.

Additionally the partners promoted Peter, Daljinder and Jenny to the position of Associates to reflect their qualifications (all are Chartered Certified Accountants) and their efforts within the practice. Joe Stanley, our tax manager, was also promoted to Associate status to reflect the integral part he plays within the practice.

Fundamentally nothing has altered in respect of the services that we provide. The partners are still following the philosophy of meeting clients outside ordinary working hours where this is necessary and obviously the three new boardrooms at Hesketh Bank have created a much friendlier and professional environment for client meetings and AGMs.

The vast majority of our client base remains in the North West of England however the fact that we act for several clients as distant as London, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Oxford and so on, demonstrates our willingness to widen our horizons.
